GAN V100 Leap – 55mm of grounded, controlled turning
The V100 Leap takes the 55mm V100 shell and swaps the floating maglev feel for a spring-based
GES system. The result is a lighter, more planted cube: 64 magnets keep every layer aligned,
while a 35° self-aligning range forgives slightly off-axis turns. A visible numerical tuning
system gives 72 distinct handfeels, so the cube can be set up for slow, precise practice or
fast, loose solving.
Leap Matte Coated – 62g, dry grip, no distractions
- Spring-based GES instead of maglev: a consistent, mechanical turn with clear tactile feedback
- 64 magnets and an omni-directional core for stable alignment at speed
- Matte shell resists fingerprints and keeps grip predictable in long sessions
- 55mm body and 62g weight – noticeably easier on the hands over a full solve set
Who it’s for: solvers who prefer a solid, grounded feel over a floating one,
and anyone wanting a compact cube for travel or one-handed practice.
Leap Year of the Horse – the same engine, collector finish
- Identical 55mm / 62g Leap platform with 64 magnets and 72 tuning combinations
- Year of the Horse artwork on the center caps and a matching illustrated gift box
- Special sticker set, tuning tool, cube bag and manual included in the package
- Frosted finish with a soft, non-glare surface
Who it’s for: collectors, gift buyers, and cubers who want their main cube
to look as distinctive as it turns.
The nutshell
Both versions share the same spring GES core, 64-magnet layout and 72-step tuning. Choose
Matte Coated for a clean, understated daily driver; choose
Year of the Horse for the special artwork and presentation box. Neither uses
maglev levitation – that is the point: stable, controllable, and light.
